To deal with what is said is difficult as I haven't played the file and it is now gone but the background to what was said is easily explained as is some of its confusion.
For nearly 2 years I investigated the fiasco know as the Royal Sands. This is evidenced here. and during the investigation I met a long time opponent of the scheme who allowed me to take her papers away which I photocopied and duly returned, so it cannot be the papers to which Kandice refers unless she is paranoid. David Green a Labour Councillor gave me a box of papers relating to the site as he was having a clear out. When he heard I was leaving Ramsgate he requested their return due to the confidential nature of the paperwork.
Also to make it clear as to ownership Friends of Ramsgate Seafront was constituted in November 2013 therefore files before that in FORS possession cannot exist. David Green's papers where given to me late 2014 and could , in theory, belong to FORS except they have been returned.
As I was treasurer of FORS from its inception I felt obligated to return checkbooks, cash box, monies, and provisional accounts back to the committee however there was the small? matter of returning £10K grant to the Awards for all and at this point I was being abused and harassed by Kandice and her partner so I returned the (very) small box to who I thought was a committee member. This was handed over in Lovetts office and signed for. Jo Hanchett confirms this in the post.
It was only after this that Kandice rocked up on my doorstep with Margarita Moscoso and a guy I didn't recognise. It was at this meeting I said I have nothing belonging to FORS and for them to leave my property. Even though I left the doorstep Kandice continued to film my wife (who had nothing to do with FORS). When I was warned back in March this secret video existed I emailed the FORS committee to warn of the consequences should it be released onto Social Media. The feedback I got was Margarita didn't know it was being filmed however not ensuring the secret film was deleted is on the head of the entire FORS Committee which seems to have sunk to an all time low.
Now that FORS and Kandice have released the video the gloves are off and the Police are involved. I do wonder how much lower FORS can sink but as they say not my problem.
p.s. There is also the matter of the rumour being put about that I left Ramsgate when the heat was turned up due to me about to be outed for being paid £29K by the Labour party to infiltrate local groups. This is so funny seeing as the local Labour party hasn't got two pennies to rub together. And "in a hurry" don't make me laugh I told the committee in September 2014 I was leaving because my step-daughter was going to have our 1st grandson. To move I had to sell 4 properties in Meday and buy property in Southampton. Anyone who knows the house buying process this isn't anything done in a hurry. This will also be part of the police investigation.
It's time for me to have my say. Kandy Jones, you were well out of order coming on to my private property secretly filming me as I have nothing to do with FORS but just happened to be Barry's OH. From what I have heard the other 2 people with you were unaware that you were filming. Why did you not inform them of your intentions? Now the video has been put out on social media. As you may well have heard from your loyal friends I have now involved the police as it is mainly I on that video and I had nothing to do with FORS, not even on Facebook. I do not belong to any of the groups. How somebody could stoop so low words fail me but to be honest I should have expected that as I had you sussed ages ago. On the video you talk about documents belonging to FORS. David Green has explained to you about his documents which were returned. Janet Woods’ paperwork was returned to her. I suggest you ask her to confirm this. Barry was allowed access to her paperwork before FORS became a constituted group when he was doing his OWN research in Pleasurerama.

Now the fake FB profile you let in to publish the video is a good friend of yours (I have sussed out who it is) I wonder why you didn't publish it yourself. It’s funny how your loyal friends only want to hear your side of the story but you like to twist your version as I have seen from screenshots. Well let me tell you I have seen the PM between the said person from ERA and Barry and I believed you were also informed about it on PM with Barry. Go back, if you can be bothered, and find that convo on PM.
ReplyDeleteNow let’s talk about the festival last year which was a huge success for Ramsgate and FORS after all the hard work that everyone put into it. Your story differs from Barry's as you said he took over. Yes Kandy he did take over after Duncan walked away from it and you were in tears down at Topps because you thought FORS had lost the festival. Don't deny it as I was present at the time. As Barry also didn't want to lose the festival he took charge in dealing with all the paperwork with help from Ruth. (you were busy running Topps so had little time to do it) He spent 5 weeks dealing with this and I can tell you at times it was very stressful. Only people who have dealt with organising one would understand all the paperwork that has to be filled in. On the Monday bank holiday after the festival finished you went on the main stage as spokesperson for FORS and were cheered by your loyal supporters shouting, 'Kandy, Kandy'. Now if that had been me I would have had everyone up on the stage that had helped over the weekend to take the applause. You say it was the 'Barry James Show' well pot kettle black springs to mind.

Then he took you to follow up appointments. You also had a laptop paid for by RTC to use as Chair for FORS which Barry applied for. Then there was the £1000 grant from the Commissioner’s fund to spend up at Winterstoke

Barry told you last September that we would be moving his business to Southampton ( yes for the shit stirrers out there we do live in Southampton and Barry is not living in Arizona as a well-known troll Paul Abela). To be told he has links with this person is so laughable as they detest each other. I’m sure Paul Abela must be having a right giggle behind his keyboard.) And that we were going to become grandparents and wanted to be near our first grandchild. But no Kandy you started spreading rumours that the reason Barry was leaving was because he was allegedly paid 29k to infiltrate FB groups by the Labour Party and was fleeing the heat. It would be nice if they would confirm this but as you don’t trust the Labour party I doubt you would believe them. (You were happy to accept funding from them last year) Now as you well know Barry is an accountant and in his profession that would be very unethical to accept bribes. Let’s not forget the PM’s from your partner accusing him of accepting brown envelopes. I call that harassment and will also be given to the police.

Secretly filming someone on their private property is immoral. How would they feel if it were done to them? I know of Barry James from the FORS Facebook page and from what I have read and seen over the last 2 years was a man dedicated to getting Ramsgate Seafront looking good again with the help of volunteers. I have not seen anyone thank him for what he has done and the time he put into getting the festival up and running with endless paperwork. All I hear on Facebook is nasty, vitriolic comments and it really saddens me. Shame on you all who have taken part in this. Take a good look at yourselves. Rant over.
ReplyDeleteAnon 18:42, It seems the Vitriolic comments seem to be carrying on on FB especially on Manston Loud Hailer and a new group set up called, 'I Love Ramsgate'. It's the usual culprits, Cheesewright, Davis, Light ( belonging to the 'Kandy Jones' cult) and a new one Brooks with Satchwell throwing the odd remark along with his SMA buddies, Keatley, Holloway and Francis. They keep going on about a 'payout' that Barry James received from the previous Labour Council. It would be nice if any of the Councillors could confirm this.
